How Can I Get to the Top of Google With My Website?
Google search keywords are a great tool for real estate agents. Here’s how to use them properly.
Last week I was working with one of our team's marketing assistants who was developing a lot of pages. I shared with her how to set up the pages in a way so that they can get ranked high on Google. I wanted to share some tips with you as well.
It’s really easy to not be found, so here’s how you can be.
You want to think hyperlocal and use a great longtail keyword search. Instead of being generic and using broad terms like “Real estate agent in Virginia” that everybody uses, you should be using a hyperlocal term. The more specific the better, like: “2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condominium with a deck in Kingstowne-Alexandria.”
Now, that’s really specific. You’re not going to get as many people searching that term, but when they do, you'll be found at the top. You’ll have to create a lot of pages like this over time to be found, but the great news is that when someone searches that term, they are going to be a prime candidate. If they are that specific in their search, they’re ready to make a move too.
If you need any more advice or have any more questions about this topic, don’t hesitate to give me a call or send me an email. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
