WHAT I WISH I LEARNED EARLIER IN MY CAREER
I wish I had learned a few lessons earlier in my real estate career. I’m going to share them with you today.
Today I want to talk to you about some things that I wish I learned in my first year of real estate sales.
The first lesson I learned was that success in real estate all comes down to lead generation. I see new agents start to do this, but get complacent once they get a client or two. What we’ve found is that when you lead generate consistently, you have more consistency in your business. Instead of having peaks and valleys, you want to have a steady rise in business.
You’ve got to lead generate every day. I recommend spending at least three hours on it. It doesn’t have to just be cold calling. It could be going to networking events, door knocking, open houses, and more. Find out what works best for you and focus on it for a few hours each day.
You should be lead generating for listings and for leverage. At the beginning of my career, I was only focused on lead generating for listings. Lead generating for leverage has allowed me to work with so many awesome people. I split my time generating leads for listings and for leverage.
If you have any questions for me or I can help you with anything in your real estate career, don’t hesitate to give me a call or send me an email. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
