5 Personal Development hacks for Greater Success

Your programming leads to your thoughts, your thoughts leads to your feelings, your feelings leads to your actions and your actions leads to your results.

I was talking to this lady just the other day and she's was sharing a conversation about "I can't do this..." We were in rapport so I just sort of chalked, "Well, that's an interesting affirmation." which is sort of my way of coaching or to understand that what she way saying is really feeding into who she was being. That caused me to want to share this with you today and sort of expand in to that thought that I was having when I was speaking with that lady yesterday.

Here's the thing: what you have to understand is that your programming leads to your thoughts, your thoughts leads to your feelings, your feelings leads to your actions and your actions leads to your results. Once you understand that the hack lies within our programming, we could impact our programming to have better thoughts and ultimately we'll have better results cause we'll have better feelings and we'll take better actions. 

If we put poor things into our brain like if we watch negative news all the time they are more likely going to give us poor thoughts.


Here's some ways to change your programming:

    1. Surround your self with the people that you intend to become

      • Example: If you want to be physically fit and you surround yourself with physically fit people you'll end up doing the same things that they are doing. You are not going to sneak a donut in the afternoon and you'll exercise. On the other side, if you hangout with smokers, you'll probably smoke which is not good for your health.

    2. Meditation

      • Headspace is a great app I use every morning. It allow me to set my foundation. I can just be at peace and I can just chill for the first 45 minutes in the morning and get me to really set my foundation for that day. 

    3. Affirmation

      • You can choose to have positive affirmations in your life and when you do so, you should do so with an "I AM" statement: I am a great sales person, I am a great leader, I am attracting positive people to me. When you do that you're able to really sort of embrace that positive energy of the affirmation that you present to your self. Let's be proactive about it.

    4. Visualization

      • My wife texts me: "The traffic out here is crazy, bunch of crazy people out here", then 10 minutes later she texted me "I got into an accident". When you visualize accident, you'll attract it. If you visualize positive things in your life: happy family, successful and profitable business, then they are more likely to show up.

    5. Exercise

      • When you are physically fit your energy is going to be higher. When you have a higher energy, you'll have vibrant positive thoughts and greater passion for what you do. When you have greater passion for what you do then you'll have greater success.
