How to clear your mind of Stress?
Today I want to talk to you about stress.
Have you ever experienced stress in this industry? I’m just curious. I bet you may have. Maybe it’s lender or underwriter that’s giving you some challenges? Or maybe you are not able to get in touch with the uncooperative broker or agent? Or maybe your client is giving you some sort of a heart burn? Maybe you are challenged to get them under contract. Those are just few of the things that can be stressful but I think it all boils down to “I need to pay my mortgage”, “I need to pay my car bill” and those are ultimately the most stressful.
The easiest way to avoid stress is Lead Generate. I know that sounds a little bit weird but when you Lead Generate then you are not worried about paying your mortgage but that’s sort of a little bit of a side point there. Here’s what you really want to do: as a Leader, and you are a leader because you lead your clients and your clients rely on you to lead them and as that leader, your job is to be able to keep that emotions between the lines.

Your job is to be able to not let that stress affect you in a manner that is it gets external from you because guess out, when you freak out I guarantee you that your clients going to freak out. I’ve seen it way too many times with other agents so we don’t want that to be you. You are a professional. Our job is to deal with the stress. It’ll be just as absurd for me to get emotionally involved in a transaction going wrong as the guy that makes my glasses for him or her to get upset because there’s a speck in the middle of the glass and it’s not going away. You get paid to solve the problem not to become a part of that problem. Hopefully I was able to share some words of encouragement today.
