Instant Rapport on First Meeting
Today, I want to talk to you about how you can best set yourself up for success for when you go on a listing appointment.
One of the things you want to know when you’re talking to a prospect to set the listing appointment is what’s important to them in a real estate agent.
Now maybe they may answer that with, “Well, I'm looking for the highest price with the least hassle”. That type is pretty common. They may also say something like “I want somebody that’s not a crooked agent”. If you notice, there’s a really specific terminology there.
You want to be able to ask them what’s important to you in a real estate agent.
If they’re saying something like “I’m looking for somebody that’s not a crooked”, write that down so that when you go to meet them you’ll say something like “Hey listen, Mr. Seller, I know that what you are looking for is an agent that is not a crook, right? You’re looking for somebody that’s gonna really help you well.”
You’re able to repeat back the information that they’ve already shared with you in a manner that you could then instantly create a rapport and a connection with them. You are more likely to get that listing.
If you have any questions about this, feel free to reach out to me. I’m always available to answer your questions and to offer you guidance. Until then, here’s to your success!
